Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents for the town in which she grew up. Michel Horowitz' father was editor and author, as were Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father had an ethnically Jewish background. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder's family relocated from Mendocino County in California, when she was just 7 years old. They lived in a place without electricity. Television books were the only way for Ryder to pass the time. Eventually, she was a voracious reader. Ryder was 12 when she was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was let go in 1986, and Ryder who was barely 15 years old, landed an acting job as a lead actor. Ryder was subject to bullying in high school. She thought that by becoming an actor her behaviour was going to be corrected. However, the plan didn't pan out. But she continued to chase her goals. Beetlejuice, a 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first major break. Ryder had a successful role in various films. In 1993, she was nominated twice in the Academy Awards. One of them for her role in The Age of Innocence.
