John Denver is a popular musician and singer who has touched a multitude of people through his songs. A lot of them are based on Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. who was born Henry J. Deutschendorf of Roswell located in the state of New Mexico,, was in Love with Colorado. He settled in Aspen. A few took the road toward Colorado after hearing Denver's popular anthems to his adopted state. I can't think of any more famous performer that embodies Colorado as well as John Denver said G. The song was performed on stage in Washington D.C. to a large audience, Denver made a recording a few days later.
